We at Borough Engineering Services ensure we adapt and progress "with our client's and our own moral and legal responsibilities to aim and progress to a Zero Net Carbon business". 2021 saw the start of the new Borough Engineering Services, ZNC strategy and plan, to start substituting further European materials for those locally sourced and to start sourcing new suppliers that are also striving for Zero Net Carbon.
Borough Engineering Services aims to revisit its current carbon reduction plans to be market-leading​.
We are working with partners to provide carbon off-setting on major systems and smaller partners to make every difference count.
We are a PAS2060 Certified company and are working with main contractors on science-based targets.

We are undertaking detailed Copex/Opex investigations for whole-life carbon figures and reduction options.

We are undertaking education/seminars and CDP with the supply chain partners.

We have two internal designers leading carbon reduction strategy.

We are working to implement new technology throughout the business.

We are using smart technology to record and detail our scope 3 emissions for publication.
